It was mostly a blue bird at Mt. Hood Meadows yesterday. The resort hasn't opened yet but my buddy, Scott, and I skinned-up south canyon for a run in 1 or 2 bowl. I could tell by pole-plants that the shady shots were deadly breakable but hoped that maybe Jacob's Ladder sunny slopes were more yielding. Turns out, all the down track sucked. The season has nowhere to go but up. I do like my Iphone vids but I could lose it in an open-pocket digger.
